In response to a growing number of clients in Texas, DataArt has recently opened a regional facility in Dallas. As Vice President, Business Development, you will be helping midsize and enterprise-level potential clients understand the power of DataArts unique capabilities to deliver complex, industry-specific custom software solutions. We are looking for a smart, ambitious, world-class sales professional to take ownership of revenue generation, to identify, nurture and develop new opportunities, manage pipeline and close opportunities across all industries in Dallas, Texas and the Central US. Responsibilities Identify and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with enterprise and midsize clients and executives, largely based in Texas Present DataArts unique value to C-level and upper-level executives Shape engagements, scope projects, and help define business solutions that best satisfy client needs and help them achieve their desired business outcomes Organize, mobilize and facilitate a broad team through complex sales cycles Evangelize DataArt through presentations and discussions, including participation at events, speaking engagements, and tradeshows Construct, forecast, and manage sales activity and pipeline to meet revenue targets and company goals Required Skills and Experience Minimum of 5 years experience in B2B, enterprise software solution sales. Prior technology consulting sales experience is desirable Oil and gas IT services sales experience is highly desirable Demonstrated hunter ethos with a record of meeting and exceeding quota (consistent top 20% performer) Demonstrated strategic and analytical sales approach with a focus on acquiring and building client relationships
